As a popular website stated recently, “STYLING is in the spotlight right now. Once, it was a somewhat a mysterious profession. Stylists were invisible people who made pictures look good, but who never really got much time in the spotlight themselves. These days, styling is a sought after gig”.
Well, one of those (invisible) stylists, working behind the camera with over 30+ years creating images is French stylist Fifi O’Neill. Recently she celebrated a very special birthday, her 70th, a real milestone, and she is just about to release another book. I believe creativity never stops, no matter what age you are and Fifi is testimony of that! Please celebrate with us the remarkable work of this beautiful, talented and very kind lady.
Our motto for Styling Magazine for this year is to be “Be Gentle with the World” and I couldn’t think of a more suitable creative and dynamic couple that both live and breathe from the heartbeat of gentleness.
Decorator, Brooke Giannetti and her husband, renowned architect Steve Giannetti, are about to release their second book, ‘Patina Farm’. Many of us dream of building the perfect home in the country, Brooke and Steve have actually done it! And, they have done it so beautifully!

For the last 40 years, mother of three, and grandmother of six, collector, artist Bernadette Smith has travelled each year along the rich and exotic pathway of the Silk road. The Silk road reaches from Central Asia, linking China in the each and to Iran and the Mediterranean to the west. Then north to Russia and south to India and Afghanistan. Now celebrating her 80th year of her life, she is travelling around Uzbekistan, the last city of the Silk road. Her home plays homage to her travels and houses her eclectic finds and handmade textiles that she found at markets years ago. Bernadette's artwork is inspired by her love of arts, crafts and textiles and her life in the Southern Highlands of NSW.
