Coty Farquhar, the founder and creator of Styling Magazine, Australia , is a professional creative director, visual decorator, award-winning costume designer, and photographic stylist. Her career took root in the 80's and flourished within the Vogue Australia stable of magazines, including Vogue Living, Vogue Entertaining Guide, and Vogue Children. She also was the Fashion Editor and Beauty Editor of New Woman Magazine under Murdoch Magazines.
With a fervent passion for the visual arts, particularly photography, Coty brings with her over 40 years of experience working in magazines, styling, and design. Coty has resided in Bowral within The Southern Highlands of NSW for the past 30 years. Together with her husband, Andrew Farquhar, a skilled cabinetmaker and antique restorer, they have collaboratively operated their atelier and workshop, known as Farquhar's - Makers and Restorers of Fine Furniture. Their two children, Thomas and Rebecca, each manage their own creative businesses in the Southern Highlands, adding to the family's creative tapestry.
