"The things I do for love" - reflecting on the past, I fondly recall a series of splendid events that I hosted in my Styling Studio in the Southern Highlands. It was the first of its kind! Surrounded by an interesting group of delightful guests, the teacher, the very talented Dimitri Weber, perfume creator of 'Goldfield & Banks' spoiled us with his knowledge & expertise. We embarked on a journey to explore perfume notes and the intricate craft of fragrance creation. It was a wonderful occasion that celebrated both the artistry of perfumery and the shared joy of learning, creating cherished memories bound by a mutual passion.

I transformed my studio into a charming perfumery, adorned with an array of bottles and fragrances collected over the past 35 years – a collection that began during my time as a beauty editor in Sydney. Gathered around a generously sized table, crafted, naturally, by Farquhars, we immersed ourselves in an enchanting tableau of delicate aromatic notes. Each bottle, a vessel of memories and scents, wove a tapestry of stories and experiences that we all shared together.
