The prolific work of our family and of all professional creatives would never be possible without a client who will
buy/fund a project.
The work life of an artist/creative can and does go on without commercial purposes of course, but often there is financial struggle and that can limit the amount of time that can be put into creative work.
I like to think of our clients as Patrons. (Think of the Patrons of the Renaissance without whom there may not be the incredible works that were made.)
These people are appreciators of the extraordinary. They usually know of our work and trust that we will give them something above and beyond. When each one of us has an initial discussion with someone who is wanting a special item made, or an interior created, or an event designed, or any other project done, we listen carefully to get a feel for what is required.
The most important part of the relationship with our clients is trust. They trust that the outcome will be superb and that their money has been well invested.
For all of us Farquhars’ creating and presenting a finished project to our “Patrons” who have given us the opportunity to use all of our skills and talents is a wonderful experience. We appreciate and thank all the wonderful many, many clients that we have had over the last 40 years.
